Memorial Day - Freedom's Colors

Freedom's Colors
2002 Roger W Hancock

Red is for Bravery;
blood shed in sacrifice.
Freedom came with lives the price.

White is for Liberty;
freedom's purity.
Life be free from God's decree.

Blue is for Justice;
as vast as the sky.
Over freedom's land to occupy.

As a commenter said at my place: All that we have, we owe to our troops.

Poet Patriot,

I will amend the post to include the link. If you'd prefer, since I didn't ask for permission to post it, I'll delete the entire blogpost. I thought this poem making a veteran proud was more important than your blog traffic.

But I apologize for not asking permission and not linking.
