Putin to Obama: Don’t hand ‘trump card’ to Syrian rebels before U.N. evidence presented

So here we are again, Vladimir Putin shows Barack Hussein Obama how a leader does things - while Obama rushed to put out his "red line" and then proceed to show his hand that the U.S. would go into Syria before lining up all of the allies he needs, Putin has weighed everything for over a week without saying anything on the world stage and finally, today he's come forward to put all of the pressure on the U.S. President.  We have a man leading our country who is an amateur.  Yep.  Elections have consequences.

The story comes from The Washington Times.

Putin to Obama: Don’t hand ‘trump card’ to Syrian rebels before U.N. evidence presented

MOSCOW — Russian President Vladimir Putin urged President Obama on Saturday not to rush into a decision on striking Syria, but to consider whether strikes would help end the violence and be worth the civilian casualties they would inevitably cause.

Speaking for the first time since the suspected chemical weapons attack on Aug. 21, Putin also questioned whether Syrian government troops should be held responsible. He said it would make no sense for them to carry out such a devastating attack while they were on the offensive.

“In such conditions, to give a trump card to those who are calling for foreign military intervention is foolish nonsense,” Putin said.

The United States said Friday that the attack in a rebel-held suburb of Damascus, the Syrian capital, killed 1,429 people, including more than 400 children.

The Russian leader implied the chemical attack came from among the rebels, saying he was convinced it was a provocation carried out by those who wanted to draw in the United States.

If the Americans have evidence to the contrary they should present it to the United Nations inspectors and the U.N. Security Council, he said. “If there is evidence it should be presented,” Putin said. “If it is not presented, that means it does not exist.”

Putin’s foreign policy adviser complained Friday that Russia had not seen the U.S. intelligence that Washington insists proves the role of the Syrian government.

On Saturday, the U.S. ambassador to Russia, Michael McFaul, met with Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov to provide information backing up the U.S. position, the Foreign Ministry said.

In addressing Obama, Putin said he was speaking to him not as the U.S. president but as a holder of the Nobel Peace Prize.

“We have to remember what has happened in the last decades, how many times the United States has been the initiator of armed conflict in different regions of the world,” Putin said. “Did this resolve even one problem?”

He urged Obama to reflect on the results of the U.S. military intervention in Afghanistan and Iraq “before taking a decision to carry out air strikes that will bring casualties, including among the civilian population.”

US drone kills four ‘foreign militants’ in North Waziristan

So, Turkmenistan is missing four of its favorite jihadis today as a U.S. drone turned their vehicle into a fireball as they drove through their second home in North Waziristan, Pakistan.  No more planting IEDs to kill American troops, no more raping 10 year old girls, no more shooting polio vaccine workers in the head.

Have a blast in Hell, boys.

The story comes from DAWN.

US drone kills four ‘foreign militants’ in North Waziristan

PESHAWAR/MIRANSHAH: A US drone targeted a vehicle in North Waziristan tribal agency on Saturday, killing four suspected militants said to be of Turkmen origin.

According to local security officials and intelligence sources, the drone fired two missiles around 12:30 pm at a vehicle near a seminary in Hesokhel Musaki village in Mirali, around 40 kilometres east of Miranshah, the main town in North Waziristan which is said to be a stronghold of Taliban and al Qaeda-linked militants.

Multiple sources said four suspected were killed in the missile strike which destroyed the vehicle and severely damaged the walls of the seminary.

Intelligence officials said the four men were identified to be militants from Turkmenistan.

They said the funerals of the four were later offered in Mir Ali Tehsil and their bodies buried at the local graveyard.

Local militant sources said the four foreigners, said to be members of the Islamic Movement Turkmenistan (IMT), were affiliated to the Hafiz Gul Bahadur faction of Taliban militants.

Bahadur is one of the most powerful militant leaders in the North Waziristan border region, and is known to have links with foreign militant groups.

He runs a coalition of various outfits in the tribal agency and is has close relations with the Haqqani group since the Soviet invasion. Reports suggest he is presently responsible for providing logistic support and other facilities to the Haqqani group.

US drone attacks are deeply unpopular in Pakistan, but Washington views them as a vital tool in their fight against Taliban and al Qaeda militants in Pakistan’s semiautonomous tribal areas along the border with Afghanistan.

The Pakistani government has repeatedly protested against drone strikes as a violation of its sovereignty.

Muslims Paying Australian Aborigines To Convert To Islam

I guess getting a few bucks to convert to Islam is better than getting killed.

The story comes from the Brisbane Times via The Religion of Peace.

Muslims paying Aborigines to convert to Islam, Rise Up candidate claims

A federal election candidate in western Queensland has accused Muslims of paying Aborigines to convert to Islam.

Speaking to ABC Western Queensland, Rise Up Australia candidate Pam Hecht said the biggest issue facing people in the electorate of Kennedy, which Bob Katter holds by 18.3 per cent, was the conversion of Indigenous people to Islam.

''I don't know whether people are aware, but many of the Aboriginal people in northern Australia are being targeted by Muslims and in some cases are being paid to convert to Islam,'' she said, describing herself and the electorate as ''farmers . . . just ordinary everyday people'', who ''want to be free to go about our business''.

''Our concern with that is, the Muslim belief, that converting the first peoples of the land to Islam means that the land belongs to Allah, and Islam should be the only religion.

''There is an Aboriginal lady who works with the people up in northern Australia and she has spoken directly with the leader of our party, Daniel Nalliah [and told him about the practice].''

Of the 340,393 Australians who identified as Muslims in the 2006 Census, just 1011 were Indigenous.

Comparatively, 290,630 Indigenous people identified as Christian.

Academics believe Aborigines came into contact with those who practised the Islamic faith even before they came into contact with Christianity, first through trade links with Indonesia and later through cameleers.

Mr Nalliah, the leader of Rise Up Australia, states in his Catch the Fire Ministries biography, that he first knew ''the Lord had called him'' after an Australian missionary visited his Sri Lankan town in 1976.

He made national headlines in 2002 when anti-Muslim comments he made became the subject of the first case heard under Victoria's newly-created Racial and Religious Tolerance Act. Mediation ended the case five years later.

Ms Hecht, who says she is a ''fifth generation Australian on her mother's side'' in her biography, said the growth of Islam was ''an important issue for the whole of Australia and definitely Kennedy''. She denied the party wanted to restrict religious choice and said the core issue was a matter of law.

''What we don't support is their hijacking of our laws and our system,'' she said.

''It really is many races, but one law and that's Australian law.''

Earlier this month, the One Nation Party dropped their candidate for the seat of Rankin, Stephanie Banister, after a gaffe-filled interview with the 27-year-old aired on Channel Seven, showed Ms Banister mistaking Islam for a country.

Ms Banister said she had been misrepresented.

Fairfax Media attempted to contact both Ms Hecht and Mr Nalliah for comment.

First Gas, Then Fire

By Findalis of Monkey in the Middle

Over a week ago President Bashar al-Assad of Syria launched a gas attack on his own people.  Hundreds of civilians are dead and thousands are wounded.  Now to follow up such a hideous act, Assad has launched an incendiary bomb into the city of Aleppo.
Citizens from the area of the city of Aleppo in northern Syria, suffering from burns most likely caused by a incendiary bomb similar to napalm, were shown on Friday on a BBC network broadcast.

According to the report, 10 were killed and many more injured in a bombing on a school.

The broadcast shows a man, identified as a teacher in the bombed school, suffering from burns in most of his body.

"The plane bombed a residential area in Orum a-Kubra," he said. "We tried to evacuate quickly, but it appears that fate had the upper hand today."

"The students gathered in one place, and then the plane got us," he added.

In another video, taken after the attack, a doctor who treated the wounded said that 10 students were killed and about 50 injured, most of them suffering from severe burns caused by napalm.
The BBC report described the scene and said the wounded looked like "walking dead."

A BBC reporter at the scene estimated the bomb contained either a napalm type explosive or thermite.

A British medic, Dr Rola, who was in Syria with the charity Hand In Hand, treated the victims at the hospital.

She said: "It is just absolute chaos and carnage here. We have had a massive influx of what looks like serious burns, seems like it must be some sort of, not really sure, maybe napalm, something similar to that.

"But obviously within the chaos of the situation it is very difficult to know exactly what is going on."

She said later: "We feel like some sort of, not even a second class citizen, like we just don't matter. Like all of these children, and all of these people who are being killed and massacred, we don't matter.

"The whole world has failed our nation and it is innocent civilians who are paying the price.".

Meanwhile, the NBC network released a survey which shows 50% of Americans oppose an US strike against Syria. Close to 80% of the surveyed said the President Barack Obama must have the Congress' go-ahead before a military intervention against Assad's regime.

SOURCE
On September 6, 2007 Israel destroyed Syria's nuclear reactor. Could you imagine Assad with a nuke or two?  Would he use it on his own people?  I do believe he would use a nuke on his own people.  He has already used Sarin gas and now an incendiary bomb.  Syria has descended into Hell.  A Hell of their own making.  How this will end is not known to the future, but it will not be a good ending for the Syrian people.

The Man More Dangerous Than Osama bin Laden....Right Here In the Heart of America

Once again, America has been kept in the dark.

The story comes from Family Security Matters.

More Dangerous than bin Laden? Protestors to Descend on Gulen's Mountain Fortress in Pennsylvania

A protest against Fethullah Gulen and his movement will take place on Saturday, August 31, at Logging Road in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania. The rally is set to start at 2 p.m. and hundreds of Turkish Americans are expected to be in attendance.

The purpose of the event, according to organizer Armagan Yilmaz, is "to warn the American people" about Gulen, "a man even more dangerous than Osama Bin Laden."

This description, Mr. Yilmaz insists, is not hyperbole. Gulen has been responsible for the transformation of secular Turkey into an Islamic state with 85,000 active mosques - - one for every 350- citizens - - the highest number per capita in the world, 90,000 imams, more imams than teachers and physicians - - and thousands of state-run Islamic schools.

Gulen accomplished this through the creation of the Justice and Development Party (Adalet ve Kalkinma, AKP) which now controls the Turkish government.

Within the past ten years, Mr. Yilmaz says, everyone who has opposed the militant Islamization of Turkey has been murdered or tossed into prison. Several Turks who escaped from the oppression are scheduled to speak at the gathering, including former Tirkish Admiral Turker Erturk and noted journalists and authors Baris Terkoglu and Baris Pehlivan.

Fethullah Gulen came to the United States in 1998 and settled in Saylorsburg after an arrest warrant on the charge of sedition was issued in his native Turkey.

Court records from his hearing for permanent U.S. residency show that his financial holdings are enormous, exceeding $25 billion. With these funds, he has established schools throughout Turkey and Central Asia to bring about his dream of "a New Islamic World Order."

Several countries have outlawed the establishment of Gulen schools within their borders - - including Russia and Uzbekistan. Even the Netherlands, a nation that embraces pluralism and tolerance, has opted to cut funding to the Gulen schools because of their threat to the social order.

In recent years, Gulen has established over 140 charter schools - - all fully funded by U.S. taxpayers allegedly as a means of indoctrinating American students in his militant ideology.

"Under the pretext of being qualified teachers hundreds of unqualified disciples are brought from Turkey to the United States with an H1B visa to work at these schools," Mr. Yilmaz says. "These teachers are to return 40% of their salaries to the movement in cash which then funds the movement. This way not only is the funding of the movement illegal but also tax fraud is committed."

The thirty-four "Gulen-inspired" Harmony Schools throughout the Lone Star State have been established at an annual expense to Texas taxpayers of $68 million. The schools are operated by the Cosmos Foundation, a mysterious non-profit corporation with headquarters in Houston. In an interview with this reporter, Sonar Tarim, the superintendent of the schools and a member of the Cosmos Foundation, said: "We have no ties to Fethullah Gulen or his movement." While Mr. Tarim admitted that the schools participate in the Turkish Olympiad, an event organized by Gulen, he expressed surprise that all of his schools were constructed by Turkish construction companies that reportedly are affiliated with Gulen and his movement.

Mr. Tarim insisted that very few teachers in Harmony Schools hail from Turkey. Yet the Cosmos Foundation has obtained H-1B visas for more than 1,136 Turks to come to Texas to teach in the Harmony Schools. He maintained that the Harmony Schools are not related in any way to the Bluebonnet Learning Centers, which represent yet another chain Gulen charter schools in Texas. Yet the Bluebonnet Learning Centers were located within the Harmony Schools and information about the centers remained posted on the Harmony website until the conclusion of the interview.

Mr. Tarim said that he and all Harmony teachers are certified by the Texas Board of Educators. Yet Mr. Tarim himself is not certified for his position as a school administrator. He further said that Turkish nationals are not in control of the Cosmos Foundation and the Harmony Schools. Yet every member of the board of directors for the Cosmos Foundation is a Turkish national, and all members, save one, of the board of directors for the Harmony schools are Turks.

Osman Nori, the retired head of Turkish intelligence, recently alleged that the Gulen movement has served as a front for US intelligence by sheltering 130 CIA agents in its schools throughout Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

This claim collaborates the testimony of Sybil Edmonds, a former FBI translator and celebrated whistleblower. Ms. Edmonds says that Gulen and his movement began to receive vast sums of money from the CIA in the wake of the collapse of the Soviet Union, when US officials realized that they could not obtain control of the massive energy resources of the newly created Russian republics because of a deep-seated suspicion of American motives.

The CIA, Ms. Edmonds maintains, came to view Turkey as a perfect "proxy" for US interests since it was a NATO ally that shared the same language, culture, and religion as the other Central Asian countries. But centralized control of these republics, she points out, could only be actualized by the creation of the Pan-Turkish nationalism and religion, envisioned by Gulen and his followers. And so, according to Ms. Edmonds, the CIA became Gulen's partner in the creation of the New Islamic World Order. The money for the pasha's schools and settlements, she says, came not from congressionally-approved funding but rather from covert CIA operations, including narcotics trafficking, nuclear black market, weapons smuggling, and terrorist activities.

Although Gulen and his defenders have refuted this testimony, a Department of Justice inspector general's report called Ms. Edmond's allegations "credible," "serious," and warranting a full and complete review. Ranking Senate Judiciary Committee members Pat Leahy (D-Vermont) and Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) have offered her public backing. "60 Minutes," the CBS news program, launched an investigation of her statements only to find them truthful and substantial. No one has ever disputed any of Ms. Edmonds' revelations which she says can be verified by FBI investigative files.

Despite Gulen's global ambitions, he continues to be presented as a moderate Muslim, who champions the causes of tolerance, peace, and good-will. Dalia Mogahed, the first Muslim woman to serve as a member of the White House Advisory Council on Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships, says that the Gulen movement "offers people a model of what is possible if a dedicated group of people work together for the good of society."

Blasphemy: The Death Sentence For Christians In Muslim Lands

This is a story that must be told - it tells of the trials of a Christian woman living deep in the festering bowels of one of the most Islamic countries on earth - Pakistan.

This woman has done her time in Hell.

The story comes from The Clarion Project.

Cup of Water Sparks Death Sentence for Pakistani Mother

On November 8, 2010, a Christian mother of five was sentenced to death by hanging under Pakistan's blasphemy laws.

While languishing in prison for the last four years, Aasiya Noreen, known as Asia Bibi, wrote her memoirs in a book called Blasphemy, where she tells of her ordeal and her years in prison. The book was dictated to her husband, who was helped in publishing the book by French journalist Anne-Isabelle Tollet.

The book is set to be published September 1, with a Kindle edition already available. Proceeds from the book will be used to support Bibi’s family, who have been forced into hiding.

Bibi was targeted by Muslim women in her village and pressured several times to convert to Islam. When she refused, the village provoked a confrontation. When she brought water to a woman who had requested it from her, the woman made statements accompanied by insults that Muslims could not drink water that was provided by non-Muslims. Bibi replied by questioning the women as to whether all people are not human beings. That question caused an uproar in the village.

Not long after, a mob of village Muslims led by a local cleric attacked Bibi. She was saved by police who took her to the station and charged her with blasphemy on the basis of a complaint lodged by the cleric. Bibi was put on trial and sentenced to death by hanging.

Bibi is the first woman to be sentenced to death under Pakistan's blasphemy laws. No one is known yet to actually have been executed by the courts, but in many instances where Christians have been accused of blasphemy, they have been killed by Muslim mobs either in prison or after they have been released.

In addition, two members of the government who have voiced their opinion in support of Bibi have been killed. One included Minister for Minorities Shahbaz Bhatti, who was shot by the Taliban.

Just days after Bibi was sentenced, another Christian charged with blasphemy was shot to death by Muslim extremists after he was released on bail.

Bibi's case, which has been appealed by her lawyers, has received international attention and condemnations from many sources including the Pope. Canada's Foreign Minister has issued a press release and a member of the UK Parliament has made a statement in the House of Commons condemning the sentence.

Although the Pakistani government is embarrassed by the case, they refuse to set her free and have transferred her to a remote prison in the hope that she will languish there or perhaps be poisoned by another inmate.

Cirque du Jihad

This is simply the BEST article on Nidal Hasan's trial you will find anywhere.

Anywhere.

The story comes from Family Security Matters.

Cirque du Jihad
by KAREN MCKAY

The bizarre jihadist circus that just closed at Fort Hood, Texas, has been a carbuncle on the American body politic that exposes the underlying disease, "Political Correctness," commonly referred to as "PC."

When US Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan, whose business card identified him as a "Soldier of Allah," opened fire on unarmed soldiers in Ft. Hood's Soldier Readiness Center-like shooting fish in a barrel--he was shouting the Islamist battle cry "Allahu Akbar." Under a sane government, that attack would have immediately been labeled terrorism and/or an act of war, not to mention treason.

Instead, President Obama called the attack a "horrific outburst of violence" in a speech before the Tribal Nations Conference at the Department of the Interior that day-after he had thanked the Department staff for "organizing just an extraordinary conference," thanked his cabinet members and administration officials who had participated, and given "a shout-out to that Congressional Medal of Honor winner... Dr. Joe Medicine Crow. It's good to see you." The official White House transcript of the President's brief remarks reveal that it wasn't until the middle of the third paragraph that he got around to announcing the "horrific" events of that day. If he hadn't before this day, Obama, who doesn't know what a corpsman is or how to pronounce the word, and is clueless as to what the Medal of Honor is and means, proved that he is unfit to be Commander-in-Chief.

Army Chief of Staff General George Casey's immediate reaction, as he told ABC's George Stephanopoulos, was that "what happened at Fort Hood was a tragedy, but I believe it would be an even greater tragedy if our diversity becomes a casualty here." With those words, Casey, not for the first time, proved that he is unfit for his office and rank. An officer's duty is to his troops, not to politics.

Vice President Biden declared it a "senseless tragedy" and said he hoped the wounded would have a full and speedy recovery. What-were they on a bus that blew a tire on the way to a picnic? Comment on Biden's fitness for his office is unnecessary.

Taking its cue from the Commander-in-Chief as a directive, the Pentagon declared the attack to be nothing more than "workplace violence." Major Hasan had merely gone postal. Lawyers rushed to agree. The Washington Times reported that Professor David Glazier, of Loyola Law School, Los Angeles-a former Navy officer and fellow at the Center for National Security Law, no less-said that it "makes perfect sense" because it's a "simple cut-and-dried murder case." Hasan is "an ordinary service member" who shot people. As for Hasan being, by his own claim, an Islamist carrying out jihad, the professor added, "A military individual pulls out a gun and shoots. It's not necessary to get into motivation to prove that basic offense."

If that is true, why do we have "hate crime" laws that get into motivation behind "basic offenses" and accordingly elevate the egregious monstrosity of the offense and jack up the punishment? In the case of a jihadist attack like Hasan's, it does matter. It matters a whole hell of a lot. In the case of the Fort Hood attack, it also means a whole lot to the victims, their survivors and families.

Sun Tzu's dictum "Know thine enemy" is assiduously ignored by our leaders and planners when it comes to Islamism. "We've got to understand who the enemy is and what motivates him, which is something most of our political leaders refuse to do," Jeffrey Addicott, director of the Center for Terrorism Law at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, told a Christian Science Monitor interviewer. "...Hasan doesn't care about the rule of law and Western concepts of life and freedom, which are hateful to him."

Hasan is no "disgruntled employee," Addicott told Investors Business Daily. "He has..labeled himself as a jihadist Islamist murderer, a hard-core jihadist. It's now clear...in spite of our leadership in this country, including the Department of Defense and Obama, what his motives are."

The New York Times had no compunctions in reporting that motive. Hasan, the paper said, killed unarmed American soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas, to defend "the leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the Taliban," specifically naming Mullah Muhammad Omar, the founder of the Islamic insurgent group. For Hasan, the courtroom is his jihadist stage where his judge is Allah, not a US Army officer.

The Constitution guarantees a "speedy trial." But it doesn't define what is speedy, so courts have addressed it. Strunk v US ruled that if a defendant's right to a speedy trial is violated, the indictment must be dismissed. So, how long is "speedy?" Barker v Wingo established that the prosecution cannot delay a trial if it is prejudicial to the defendant, but a defendant can delay the trial if it works on his own behalf--but doesn't say how long that can be.

Evidently, four years is okay if it benefits a terrorist to be tried for ordinary mass murder-Major Hasan has retained his rank and full pay and benefits (other than being under detention) all this time, and afforded every indulgence his religion demands as well as free medical care. Other than rare exceptions for Sikh soldiers, and Special Operators hunting the Taliban and al-Qaeda in Afghanistan-those whom Hasan claims he was protecting when he opened fire--no US soldier is permitted a beard, but the Army got all wrapped around the axle for months over the issue of Hasan's religious rights, and terrorist Hasan won. Now he has a nice, bushy beard, which he evidently had no problem NOT having prior to gunning down unarmed men and women. No doubt he has been accommodated with all the sensitivities that have been lavished on Gitmo prisoners: Halal food, toilet oriented so he does not urinate in the direction of Mecca, prayer rug, cessation of all formalities at his appointed five-times-a-day prayer... At least the Army had the courage to place a female officer as judge over Hasan's court martial, but she appeared to be contorting herself, the Constitution and the UCMJ to ensure that everything went Hasan's way-the the point of suppressing evidence of his Islamist radicalism.

Meanwhile, his victims, their survivors and families, have been denied all of the benefits and honor that would accrue to them if this attack had been rightfully deemed terrorism or an act of war. These people, including the civilian cops who took down Hasan, have been pretty much discarded to make it on their own. When the Vice President talked about this "senseless tragedy," the senseless tragedy is the one inflicted by his President and his Justice Department on the dead and wounded, their survivors and families. Tragedy it was and is for the victims and their loved ones, but the act itself was an atrocity.

What should have been on trial at Fort Hood is the Political Correctness that facilitated this "crime." The Army long knew about Hasan's radical Islamist bent, but passed him along through promotions, training and assignments out of fear of violating the puritanical Code of Political Correctness. Those responsible for enabling him by sins of commission (promotions, schools, assignments) and of omission (not raising red flags when his radicalism became apparent and stopping his career in its tracks at the first sign of radicalism) should be tried as accessories to the crime of mass murder, workplace violence or--whatever--committed by Major Nidal Malik Hasan.

But Americans are in the grip of PC paralysis, fearful of doing anything that might cause us to be accused of any bias against any protected class. Those protected classes would include feminists, homosexuals, drug addicts and, above all, Islamists-the others are unlikely to commit mass murder.

Political Correctness denies both the act of terrorism and the Islamist identity of attackers. Despite Fort Hood, despite jihadist attacks in Arkansas, New Jersey, Los Angeles, the DC Metro area, North Carolina...despite Dar es Salaam, Nairobi, Calcutta, Karachi, Riyadh and the USS Cole...despite Benghazi...the Department of Justice continues to consider terrorism a criminal matter and terrorists as ordinary criminals. The FBI website still defines it thus: In accordance with U.S. counterterrorism policy, the FBI considers terrorists to be criminals.

It's intellectual cowardice, and the outcome is the tyranny of Political Correctness. Its iron grip is evident every day in the language of news. The American media scrupulously avoid identifying domestic killers, terrorists and wannabe terrorists as being Muslim when that is the case. It's the same PC tyranny that dictates suppression of coverage of black-on-black or black-on-white crimes.

Too many media pundits and politicians cannot look reality in the eye. The PC Iron Maidens they wear dictate that the "alleged" shooter, Major Malik Nidal Hasan, is "disturbed," suffering from "Pre-Traumatic Stress Disorder," even a "nut." He was "hazed" for his religious views, he is excused and "understood" for his Islamist statements, his sympathetic admiration of suicide bombers was merely "medical research."

Euphemisms avoid the unpleasantness of calling a spade a spade. Terrorists are called "militants" or "extremists" in the media. No. Susan B. Anthony and Carrie Nation were militants. The Code Pink females and PETA operatives are extremists. Those who visit violence on civilians for political purposes are terrorists.

In psychological warfare, semantics is all; facts are irrelevant. Political Correctness sprang fully grown from the forehead of Joseph Goebbels, Hitler's gifted propagandist and specialist in mind control. His attentive students find easy prey still in the gullible, the mentally lazy, the well-intentioned, the fearful and the ignorant in America and Europe.

President Barack Obama banished the term "terror" from his Administration upon taking office. We would make war no more; we would, rather, engage in "overseas contingencies." Acts of terrorism would be "man-made disasters." Obama's "Agenda for Defense," issued by the White House on January 22, 2009, swore to deter and defeat any "conventional competitors." "Competitors," not "enemies." The Ft. Hood shooter becomes the "alleged" or "suspected" shooter. The assault becomes a tragedy.

Hasan was permitted by the system to be a sleeper cell out of fear of calling him what he is. He was known to be an Islamist-outspokenly anti-American and pro-terrorist--and those who claim they were watching him were apparently restrained by Political Correctness from saying anything. If they had had the moral courage and integrity to denounce Hasan, they likely would have been disciplined for failure to practice diversity, and worse, castigated as bigots.

Political Correctness is itself a form of self-inflicted terrorism enforcing group-think. Americans are terrified of being accused of bigotry, racism, Fascism, warmongering, sexism, [fill in the blank] if they do not conform to the Liberal world view.

Rabbi Daniel Lapin in his 1999 book, America's Real War, posits that Liberalism and Political Correctness are greater threats to the survival of our nation than any outside enemy. It is this corrosive philosophy that permitted an officer of the United States Army to operate openly, without restraint, as, at the very least, a terrorist sympathizer.

There is nothing that guarantees the survival of a country or a civilization, including ours, the greatest and freest nation in history. Alexis de Tocqueville wrote in "America is great because she is good. If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great." In The Prince, Niccolo Machiavelli warned that moral decay so weakens a country that it will collapse from a determined push: The conquest of the Mede empire by Cyrus, the fall of Rome to barbarians, the capitulation of France to the Nazis, the disintegration of the Soviet Union under Reagan's relentless pressure. None of these powers would have collapsed as they did had they been morally strong at their core. Each little victory over American law or tradition by an Islamist-Hasan's beard, for example-each small erosion of our American liberties is an incremental incursion of the camel's nose into the tent of our nation and our culture.

Moral decay happens so slowly, so gradually, that we as a nation may not be aroused to stop it before it is too late to save ourselves. While American Liberals/Progressives deride Tea Partiers as reactionary idiots, our enemies look at our media, our courts, our entertainment...and they see rot. They see a people who lack moral courage and integrity, who fear to stand for the values enshrined in their own Constitution and founding documents. A people so weak, so timid, so easily manipulated that they are embarrassed by the absolutes of God and Country. A people obsessed with promoting "social justice" causes that undermine the very foundation of our nation. One day we may wake up to find the entire camel inside and the tent collapsed around us, and we will have loosened the tent pegs by our own hands. De Tocqueville again: "Arbitrary power is most easily established on the ruins of liberty abused to licentiousness." Then we won't have the frivolous luxury of arguing over homosexual rights, abortion rights, animal rights, artistic rights, topless rights...or CO2 emissions, polar bears, SUVs, oil wells or any of the other things that occupy the minds of Liberals.

Now that Hasan has been found guilty and condemned to death-hopefully by firing squad--we have to deal with who and what enabled him to carry out his jihad. The Fort Hood massacre must be recognized as casus belli to declare war on the Political Correctness that allowed this guy to skate through the system. The "Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil" monkeys must go, and the clear-eyed Bald Eagle be restored to his place, unpinioned and unhooded, if our nation is to survive.

Nidal Malik Hasan was not the first Islamist jihadist wearing the uniform of the US armed forces to attack and kill fellow soldiers, and he probably won't be the last. There are surely other Hasans waiting to strike, and those incipient abscesses must be excised before they also kill. They are not unknown, just as Hasan was not unknown to those who had contact with him. At present there is probably no mechanism to do that. The system that now intimidates people into silence and acquiescence has to make it safe for them to report observations or suspicions up the chain of command. The process must allow for discreet investigation at each level of command, and then permit appropriate action for the good of the service and country, not for the good of a political agenda, to remove these closet jihadists.

I can already hear the cries of protest that this will lead to prejudice, unfairness, profiling, revenge, targeting, coercion, and all the other evils of human weakness. Yes, it no doubt will. Systems are operated by flawed humans. Those evils already exist and happen every day to members of the military because human beings are involved, no matter how many safeguards are built into the system. I could write a book about abuses just based on my own military career. It's human nature. Faeces eventum. The system itself is fair and good, and most people do the best they can with professionalism, integrity and honor to make the system work. Now the system must provide for the means to identify and remove Islamist jihadists like Hasan as the malignant growths that they are.

Pakistani Muslim Man Purchases 20 Year Old Woman To Breed, Give Him a Male Child

Hmmm....it does sound like something that Mohammed would suggest, doesn't it?  You're a 55 year old man and you want a son and since women occupy the same level in Muslim society as a breeding cow, why not buy yourself a 20 year old woman to birth you a son?

The story comes from ZeeNews via The Religion of Peace.

Pakistani man buys girl to give birth to male child

Lahore: His wish to father a son from a girl 'bought' for the purpose landed a 55-year-old man in police custody in Pakistan's Punjab province.

Muhammad Ali, married twice, had three girls but no son and he bought the 20-year-old girl, hoping that she would bear him a son.

Ali and his two wives were living with him separately in Cheechawatan, some 200 kilometres from here, in Sahiwal district. Three girls were from his first marriage but her second wife was issue-less.

"As I desperately wanted a male child I bought a 20-year-old woman, Begum Bibi, from Mamoo Kanjan, near Lahore, by paying rupees 120,000 to Muhammad Khan over a month ago.

I loved my second wife and I told her that I would leave the girl when she will give birth to a male child and subsequently I would hand him over to you (second wife)," Ali told police.

Ali started living with Begum Bibi in a rented house.

A couple of days ago, Bibi called the Rescue 1122 over phone and complained that Ali detained her in a house and abused her both sexually and physically.

In an operation, authorities rescued Begam Bibi and handed over her to police. Police later arrested Ali.

Begam Bibi told police that Ali had promised to nikah (wed) with her at the time of "buying deal."

Shias Targeted In Baghdad By Suicide Bombers and VBIEDs, 58 Dead....Count Is Rising

Some in Baghdad, Iraq are going to call today...."Bloody Wednesday" as al Qaeda in Iraq jihadis went on a bombing rampage utilizing both suicide bombers as well as car bombs to kill 58 people that targeted nothing but Shia Muslim civilians out shopping and making their way to work.

The million dollar question is when the Shias in Iraq and the Shias in Iran will break and it will be on.  Totally on.  And when it does take that turn, Syria may look like a playground.

The story comes from DAWN.

Attacks kill at least 58 people in Iraq: Officials

BAGHDAD: A coordinated wave of bombings tore through Shia Muslim areas in and around the Iraqi capital early Wednesday, killing at least 58 and wounding many more, officials said.

The blasts, which came in quick succession, targeted residents out shopping and on their way to work.

The attacks are the latest in a relentless wave of killing that has left thousands dead since April, marking the country's worst spate of bloodshed since 2008. They raise fears that Iraq is hurtling back toward the brink of a civil war fueled by ethnic and sectarian differences.

Insurgents deployed explosives-laden cars, suicide bombers and other bombs and targeted parking lots, outdoor markets and restaurants in predominantly Shia neighborhoods of Baghdad, according to officials. A military convoy was also hit south of the capital.

The northern neighborhood of Kazimiyah, home to a prominent, gold-domed Shia shrine, was the worst hit.

Two bombs went off in a parking lot in the neighborhood, followed by a suicide car bomber who struck onlookers who had gathered at the scene. Police said a total of 10 people were killed and 27 wounded in that attack.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the day's attacks, but they bore the hallmarks of the Iraqi branch of Al-Qaeda. It frequently targets Shias, which it considers heretics, and employs coordinated bombings in an attempt to incite sectarian strife.

Many of the blasts targeted morning shoppers. A parked car bomb detonated in a commercial area in the northern Shaab neighborhood, killing nine and wounding 15. More parked car bombs went off in outdoor markets in the sprawling slum of Sadr City, where five were killed and 20 were wounded. Similar attacks hit the northeastern neighborhood of Shula, killing three and wounding nine; the southeastern Jisr Diyala in an outdoor market, killing eight and wounding 22; and the eastern New Baghdad area, killing three and wounding 12.

Blasts also hit the neighborhoods of Bayaa, Jamila, Hurriyah and Saydiyah, claiming a total of 12 lives.

In Mahmoudiyah, about 30 kilometers (20 miles) south of Baghdad, a suicide bomber blew himself up outside a restaurant, killing four and wounding 13. And in Madain, about 25 kilometers (15 miles) southeast of Baghdad, a roadside bomb struck a passing military patrol, killing four soldiers and wounding six others. Medical officials confirmed the casualty figures, which included more than 180 wounded. All officials spoke on condition of anonymity as they were not authorized to release information.

The violence follows months of protests by Iraq's Sunni minority against the Shia-led government that began late last year. Attacks have been on the rise since a deadly security crackdown by security forces on a Sunni protest in April, while the increasingly sectarian nature of the civil war in neighboring Syria is inflaming Iraq's own long-festering differences between Sunnis and Shias.

In response, clerics and other influential Shia and Sunni leaders have called for restraint, and security forces have tried to ratchet up counterinsurgency operations.

More than 500 people have been killed so far in August, according to an Associated Press count.

Taliban Massacre 12 Afghan Civilians Over the Weekend - Have You Heard That ANYWHERE?

I guess you have to come to Holger Awakens to find out what atrocities the jihadis of the world are wreaking on humanity and Holger has to find out via foreign news services - the citizens of America are completely in the dark as to the atrocities committed each day by Islamic jihadis - sure, they hear about a chemical attack in Syria because Obama wants them to hear that but have any of you heard of 12 Afghan civilians killed in cold blood over the weekend by the blood thirsty mongrels of the Taliban?  Hell no.

The story comes from CBS ...whoops, no, not CBS....MSNBC....whoops, no, not MSNBC either...it's from Times of India.

Taliban kill 12 Afghan civilians, aid workers

KABUL: Insurgents shot and killed 12 civilians in two separate incidents over the weekend, including six aid workers employed on government projects, officials said on Tuesday.

The bodies of six victims were found in the Gulran district of western Herat province, said Jamel Danish, media adviser for the ministry of rural rehabilitation.

Five were Afghan employees of The International Rescue Committee who had been kidnapped on Sunday, and the US-based group said it was temporarily suspending operations. It has worked in Afghanistan since 1988. The sixth victim worked for the ministry.

"The IRC is devastated and grief-stricken by the deaths of our colleagues who were all working to make a better Afghanistan," IRC president George Rupp said in a statement.

President Hamid Karzai and the UN office in Afghanistan also condemned the killings, which the UN said could be classified as a war crime. The Taliban regularly target government employees.

Danish said the six were kidnapped by the Taliban and killed after negotiations to free them failed. His ministry with help from international groups seeks to improve the lives of Afghans in remote parts of the country.

Rohullah Samon, spokesman for eastern Paktia province, said six unidentified civilians were also found on Tuesday by a roadside. He had no other details.

In Kabul, a suicide bomber riding a bicycle was killed when his explosive went off prematurely, wounding a passerby, said Kabul deputy police chief, General Mohammad Daoud Amin. He said it was unclear what the intended target of the bomber was in the area of downtown Kabul where the explosion took place.

Violence in Afghanistan has increased in recent months as insurgents fight to regain territory, trying to take advantage of the handover of the country's security from the Nato-led coalition to Afghan forces ahead of the withdrawal of all foreign combat forces at the end of 2014.

Civilian casualties have spiked this spring and summer. The UN said in its mid-year report that casualties were up 23 per cent compared to the first six months of 2012.

Syria: Graveyard of the Barack Obama Presidency

From Family Security Matters.

Syria: Graveyard of the Barack Obama Presidency

Rarely has an administration looked as inconsequential as that of U.S. President Barack Obama's did this week.

A year after Obama warned the Syrian regime that using chemical weapons would cross a "red line", rebel forces said Wednesday that the army of President Bashar Assad had used poison gas to attack civilians near Damascus, killing potentially hundreds.

The rebels' allegations have been verified by videos showing victims convulsing and choking, as well as photos of children wrapped in clean white shrouds, lined shoulder to shoulder with their dead faces visible.

Yet, despite the growing body of evidence of chemical weapons attacks, the Obama administration continues to assess, reassess, hem and haw.

And don't expect a shift in U.S. policy even if the White House should at last conclude that the Syrian military is using chemical weapons. The lack of a clear, coherent U.S. response to the humanitarian crisis in Syria isn't a mere foreign policy slip.

Indeed, the lethargy that has to date characterized the Obama administration's Middle East policy is deep, broad and systemic.

From his famous 2009 'Cairo Speech' to the Muslim world to the latest round of peace talks aimed at resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Obama's policy in the Middle East can be summed as follows: "speak loudly and throw away your stick".

Behind the soaring rhetoric and lofty ambitions, Obama's is a remarkably cold-blooded administration, which bases decisions on how foreign policy issues will play at home. As a result, there has long been a proclivity in Obama's White House towards a foreign policy punctuated by swift, dynamic action that is utterly lacking in continuity or consistency.

However, there is a method to this madness. To understand Obama's guiding principles with regards to the Middle East, one need only recall the legacy of one of his political mentors, Henry Kissinger. As President Richard Nixon's National Security Advisor, Kissinger's realpolitik outlook viewed unrest as more dangerous than injustice and a functioning balance of power as more important than human rights.

Realpolitik refers to politics or diplomacy based primarily on power and on practical and material factors and considerations, rather than ideological notions or moralistic or ethical premises.

This realism without moral scruples explains the current administration's approach to Syria, which is to help keep the Syrian opposition fighting but with the implicit understanding that any assistance be limited for fear that the rebels might actually win.

This obsession with stability is a hallmark of an Obama White House that aims to significantly reduce the U.S. influence in world affairs, justifying such a retreat by a greater focus of time and treasure on domestic issues.

While the idea of an incredible shrinking United States holds a superficial appeal, it's neither new nor has it ever proven successful. Lyndon Johnson sought to concentrate on domestic American affairs after 1964, with his Great Society program, as did Bill Clinton in 1992 and George W Bush in 2000. All three were blindsided by reality.

Barack Obama's value-free foreign policy isn't responsible for the massacre in Syria. However, the President of the United States must be held accountable for the policies he creates and the messages those policies send. Not only has Obama's disengaged attitude not served American values, they are allowing Middle East autocrats to take full advantage of a feckless U.S. foreign policy, wreaking death and destruction across the region.

For the President of the United States, aloofness isn't a luxury.

Al Qaeda In Iraq Issues Statement That Al Qaeda Widows Should Have Sex With Any and All Al Qaeda Jihadis To Boost Morale

What a religion, huh?  In a nutshell, the leaders of al Qaeda in Iraq are telling all of the women who lost their al Qaeda husbands to mortar rounds, or blowing themselves up or getting a JDAM up their ass....that they really need to buck up and start spreading their legs for the al Qaeda troops still active in the revolution so that the jihadis' morale will go up (know, i didn't totally go there).  Oh and by the way, if you're an al Qaeda widow in Iraq, you better be willing to travel to service the jihadis in Syria.

So ladies, stop your sobbing and wimpering and mourning and get on your back for our boys!

The story comes from ABNA via The Religion of Peace.

Al-Qaeda’s Indecent Proposal to Widows

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Governor of al-Khalis in Iraq’s Diyala Province, Oudai Al Khadran, was quoted by al-Sumeria news that "Intelligence cells commissioned with monitoring al-Qaeda’s activities within Diyala’s borders have reported that the highly-ranked officials in the organization urged the widows of the commanders and members to abide by the sexual Jihad Fatwa".

"This Fatwa allows al-Qaeda’s women to have sexual intercourse with members of the organization to lift their morale," he said.

"The attempt to implement the Sexual Jihad Fatwa issued by clergymen that support the armed groups in Syria proves that such laws are transnational. This also points out that al-Qaeda’s course of action in Syria or in any other country is closely related to the events that are taking place in Iraq," he added.

"Al Qaeda’s Fatwas issued in the previous years by crooked clergymen have done harm to Islam," Khadran said.

He further stressed the importance of "standing up to these jurists and fighting extremist tendencies that blemish the humanitarian values of Islam".

The sexual Jihad Fatwa made its first appearance in Syria a few months ago and it allowed for armed members to have sexual intercourse with women for a determined period of time as per a momentary contract that loses effect after a few hours.

This will allow other men to sign a similar contract and women to sleep with more than one man per day.

The call has been followed with several cases of rapes and sexual assaults on women and girls in Syria who fall victim to extremist al-Qaeda militants.

The insurgency in Syria which is going on with US strong support is showing vicious incidents of human rights violations, almost all ignored by the western and regional allies of Washington.

The fact that al-Qaeda and other extremist groups are gaining more attention in Syria has mounted worries among Muslim clerics and prominent figures who are concerned by the impressions left on the image of Islam world by the unacceptable acts of extremism done in the name of Islam.

Dozens killed in bombings across Iraq

The blood ran heavy in the streets of Iraq yesterday - you know, just another typical weekend in the Land of Allah and Mo.

The story comes from Philly.com.

Dozens killed in bombings across Iraq

BAGHDAD - Insurgents bent on destabilizing Iraq killed at least 46 people in numerous attacks around the country on Sunday, striking targets as varied as a coffee shop, a wedding party convoy, and a carload of off-duty soldiers. The attacks are part of a months-long wave of killings, the country's worst spate of bloodshed since 2008.

One of the boldest attacks happened near the northern city of Mosul, where militants set up a fake security checkpoint, then captured five soldiers and shot them dead, a police officer said. The soldiers were in civilian clothes and returning to base in a taxi. Inside Mosul, gunmen in a speeding car shot and killed a grocer, he said, though the motive was not immediately clear. The grocer was a member of the Shabak ethnic group, which has its own distinct language and religious beliefs. Another police officer said a car bomb exploded as a judge drove past in the northern town of Balad, killing three nurses and a man who had been walking nearby.

Thirteen other people were wounded, he added. Attacks have been on the rise since a deadly security crackdown in April on a Sunni protest camp. More than 3,000 people have been killed during the last few months, raising fears the country could see an even deadlier, sectarian round of bloodshed similar to what brought the country to the edge of civil war in 2006 and 2007. Many of Sunday's victims were civilians going about their normal business.

In Madain, about 15 miles southeast of Baghdad, a car-bomb explosion killed four and wounded 12, another police officer said. Authorities reported that another bomb there struck a group of young people playing soccer, killing four and wounding 13. Multiple blasts hit the city of Baqubah, including one next to a wedding party convoy that killed four and wounded 17, police said. In Baghdad, explosions killed at least 16, officials said. All officials spoke on condition of anonymity as they were not authorized to release the information.

Why Doesn't the Obama Administration Want To Talk About the 400 Missiles Stolen In Benghazi?

The story comes from Family Security Matters.

Obama Administration Covers Up Missile Theft

The Obama administration is covering up the theft of 400 surface to air missiles by "some very ugly people," the lawyer for a Benghazi whistleblower told WMAL Radio in Washington D.C. last week.

Joe DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney, represents Mark Thompson, who was Deputy Coordinator for Operations in the State Department's Bureau of Counterterrorism.

He was referring to MANPADS (man portable air defense systems) such as the American Stinger or the Russian SA-24. They're now in the hands of al Qaida, Mr. DiGenova said.

The theft was the reason why the administration shut down 22 diplomatic missions, he said.

"They were afraid that there was going to be a missile attack on one of the embassies," Mr. DiGenova said.

Fear that U.S. troops coming to the rescue might be shot down may also be why no help was sent during the seven hour siege of our consulate in Benghazi and its annex on 9/11/2012, he said.

"We had troops in Croatia ready to deploy," Mr. DiGenova said.

A former diplomat told him AFRICOM "had special ops assets in place that could have come to the aid of the Benghazi consulate immediately," Roger Simon of PJ Media reported in May.

He didn't know whether the missiles were taken from the CIA annex, but "it's clear" the annex was "somehow involved" in distributing them, Mr. DiGenova said. He didn't say to whom.

MANPADS from Libya have been reported in the hands of Somali pirates, an Islamist militia in Niger, and Syrian rebels.

Libyan dictator Muammar el-Qaddafi bought thousands of MANPADS from Russia over the years, which fell into Islamist hands when he was overthrown, Con Coughlin, defense editor for the London Telegraph, wrote in October 2011.

The CIA annex "had been a base for, among other things, collecting information on the proliferation of weaponry looted from Libyan government arsenals, including surface-to-air missiles," Reuters News Service reported last October.

Rebels had MANPADS before Qaddafi fell. They used them to shoot down Libyan air force aircraft during the civil war.

The rebels got some early in the conflict from raids on regime weapons depots.

Rebels showed him Stinger missiles, a reporter for the Australian Broadcasting Company said in March, 2011. There's an enormous difference in capability between the modern Stinger and the old Soviet SA-7s (first manufactured in 1972) looted from the regime's arsenals.

Perhaps Ben Knight, the Aussie reporter, was using the term to describe MANPADS generally. But rebel leaders specifically requested Stingers. The rebels were getting Stingers from foreign sources, Khadafy's intelligence service suspected.

Ambassador Chris Stevens was in Benghazi on 9/11/2012 to buy back from al Qaida groups Stinger missiles "issued to them by the State Department," Mr. Simon said he was told by two former diplomats.

The CIA was against giving missiles to insurgents for fear they would fall into the wrong hands, but Secretary Clinton wanted "to overthrow Khadafy on the cheap," one of his sources told him, Mr. Simon said.

"This left Stevens in the position of having to clean up the scandalous enterprise when it became clear that the 'insurgents' actually were al-Qaeda," he wrote.

Whatever was going on, the administration is going to considerable lengths to conceal it.

There were "dozens" of CIA operatives at the annex on 9/11/2012, CNN reported Aug. 1. Survivors "have been subjected to frequent, even monthly polygraph examinations."

"The goal of the questioning, according to sources, is to find out if anyone is talking to the media or Congress," CNN said. "It is being described as pure intimidation, with the threat that any unauthorized CIA employee who leaks information could face the end of his or her career."

The administration is "dispersing" witnesses across the country, and is changing their names to hide the truth from Congress, charged Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-SC, a member of the House Oversight Committee investigating Benghazi, and a former federal prosecutor.

The Obama administration "did not take proper measures to secure the weapons," said Rep. Peter King, R-NY, who heads the Counterterrorism and Intelligence subcommittee of the House Homeland Security Committee.

"They are now responsible for all the stepchildren of violence that happens as a result of this," Mr. DiGenova said. "That's why they have lied repeatedly about what happened in Benghazi."

New Spiritual Leader of the Muslim Brotherhood Is In Hiding In London

Mohammed Badie, 70, the Muslim Brotherhood's previous spiritual leader, was arrested last Tuesday morning in Cairo. Photo: REUTERS

From The Telegraph.

Muslim Brotherhood leader Gomaa Amin is in hiding in London

The new spiritual leader of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood is living in hiding in London in fear of state-sponsored assassination, it can be disclosed.

Gomaa Amin is understood to have been made head of the Islamist organisation last week following the arrest of his predecessor in Cairo by Egypt’s military rulers.

Mr Amin, 79, had flown to London about two months ago for medical treatment and as a result escaped detention when the army seized power in a bloody coup.

He is now residing at an undisclosed address from which he is trying to orchestrate the Muslim Brotherhood’s response to the coup.

The presence of Mr Amin in London is a potential headache for British authorities who may be obliged to provide protection for such a senior and controversial figure.

The Muslim Brotherhood supports a caliphate, a unified Islamic state under Sharia law, and has been accused of fuelling religious tensions in the Middle East, particularly with the Christian minority.

Attacks on Christians in Syria and Egypt are highlighted in a new interview with Lord Sacks, the outgoing Chief Rabbi, who spoke of his grave concern for the religious minority.

“I think this is a human tragedy that is going almost unremarked,” Lord Sacks says in an interview with the Telegraph.

“I don’t know what the name for this is, it is the religious equivalent of ethnic cleansing. We are seeing Christians in Syria in great danger, we are seeing the burning of Coptic churches in Egypt.

“There is a large Coptic population in Egypt and for some years now it has been living in fear. I think sometimes Jews feel very puzzled that Christians do not protest this more vociferously.”

Lord Sacks’s comments - while not directly aimed at the Muslim Brotherhood which describes itself as a non-violent organisation - will turn the spotlight on the Brotherhood’s Egyptian leaders, who appear to be making the UK their base in exile.

There will may be concern that Mr Amin’s residency in London will attract militant Islamists. In the 1980s and 1990s, Britain largely operated an 'open-door’ policy allowing extremists to live in exile in London to escape persecution from authoritarian regimes in the Arab world.

So-called 'preachers of hate’ including Abu Qatada, Abu Hamza and Omar Bakri Mohammed used London as a base to radicalise young Muslims, who went on to commit or attempt terrorist atrocities both here and abroad.

Supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood say it is wrong to liken the group to other Islamists which support al-Qaeda and other terrorist organisations.

The Muslim Brotherhood, through its political wing the Freedom and Justice Party, has instructed lawyers in London to investigate whether Abdulfattah al-Sisi, the Egyptian general at the head of the army, who deposed Mohammed Morsi, the country’s democratically-elected president, has committed crimes against humanity.

The team of lawyers includes Lord Macdonald of River Glaven, the former director of public prosecutions, and Michael Mansfield QC, who brought the private prosecution against the killers of Stephen Lawrence.

Legal actions may be brought at the International Criminal Court (ICC) in the Hague or else through a private prosecution in London.

If successful, Egypt’s new military rulers may face having their assets frozen in the West and even possibly arrest should they try to visit the European Union or other countries signed up to the ICC.

Mr Amin is understood to be heavily involved in bringing the case although lawyers refuse to identify individuals over fears for their safety.

Tayab Ali, a partner at human rights law firm ITN Solicitors who is head of the legal team, said: “It is really dangerous for Muslim Brotherhood members in exile in London.

"Nobody anticipated how extreme General Sisi’s interim government has been. It appears to be trying to exterminate the Muslim Brotherhood and wipe it out. Nobody will argue that the lives of the senior leadership are in danger and that includes those in London.”

There has been confusion over who is running the Muslim Brotherhood since the security crackdown. Mohammed Badie, 70, its previous spiritual leader, was arrested last Tuesday morning in Cairo.

His position appears to have been taken by Mr Amin, a deputy leader almost a decade older. Mr Badie defeated him in elections to the senior position in 2010.

The Muslim Brotherhood has refused to confirm the identity of its new spiritual leader but Mshariq.com, an Arabic news website, reported that an emergency meeting had taken place following Mr Badie’s arrest and Mr Amin given the role. It is not clear if he is an interim leader.

Mona al-Qazzaz, the Muslim Brotherhood’s spokeswoman in the UK, described Mr Amin as a senior leader who had arrived in London earlier in the summer.

She said: “He is one of the senior leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood and he is here in London. He was here for medical checks two months ago.”

Mr Amin, a father of three, has been an official member of the Muslim Brotherhood since 1951 and for many years has been pursued by the Egyptian authorities.

He was jailed for six years between 1965 and 1971 for opposing the government of Gamal Abdel Nasser and was later put on a wanted list following the assassination of Anwar Sadat in 1981 - part of a mass round up of Muslim Brotherhood leaders - prompting him to live in exile in Saudi Arabia for four years

He was a vocal supporter of the Arab Spring and actively voiced calls for Sunni Muslims, who predominantly support the Muslim Brotherhood, and Shiites to unite against “a single enemy who [is] American Zionist”.

The scale of support for the Muslim Brotherhood in the UK is unclear but it is estimated that between 500 and 1,000 Egyptians living in London voted for the party through ballot at the Egyptian embassy in London. The majority of the 6,000 Egyptian citizens in London voted for alternative parties in the elections last year.

Buddhists In Myanmar Go On a Rampage Against Muslims After Buddhist Woman Sexually Attacked By Muslim Man

Apparently, even Buddhists have a breaking point when it comes to dealing with the scourge of Islam as in Myanmar a crowd of angry Buddhists torched the homes and businesses of Muslims after a Buddhist woman was savagely sexually attacked by a Muslim man.  According to the article at Times of India, the crowd also was demanding that police hand the attacker over to them (now THAT would have been fun to see!).

Buddhists torch Muslim homes in Myanmar

YANGON: Myanmar police say Buddhist mobs have burned down dozens of houses and shops after rumors spread that a Buddhist woman was sexually assaulted by a Muslim man. There were no reports of injuries.

Myanmar's radical monk Wirathu said on his Facebook page that the mob rampaged through a village just outside Kantbalu in the northwest of the country late on Saturday after rumors of the rape spread.

A police officer from the area, who asked not to be named because he did not have authority to speak to the media, said a crowd surrounded the police station demanding that the suspect be handed over. When police refused, they started setting buildings on fire.

He says about 35 houses and 12 shops were destroyed before calm was restored.

Million Muslim March on 9/11 Linked to Islamist Radicals

March organizer MD Rabbi Alam (l), march speaker Imam Mahdi Bray (r)

From The Clarion Project.

Million Muslim March on 9/11 Linked to Islamist Radicals

In multiple media appearances, the organizers of the Million American March Against Fear (formerly the Million Muslim March), which will be held on September 11, claim that the march is being held to battle fear, discrimination and human rights violations. They are being wordsmiths. This is an Islamist-linked, conspiracy-promoting political rally that uses 9/11 to push an anti-Western narrative.

The march is being organized by American Muslim Political Action Committee (AMPAC), an organization linked to Islamist radicals and 9/11 “Truthers.” The head organizers have personal histories of promoting an Islamist agenda for America, anti-Semitism and 9/11 conspiracy theories. In fact, according to one of the organizers, the name of the march was changed to accommodate non-Muslim 9/11 conspiracy theory groups.

On its website, AMPAC says:

“'Al-Qaeda’ is a joke. And so is the whole ‘war on terror.’”
“Whether or not Al-Qaeda is completely mythical, the so-called ‘Islamic terrorist threat’ is pure hallucination.”
“Muslims, too, live in fear—of being dragged off into the night to Guantanamo and tortured, simply for the crime of being Muslim in the wrong place at the wrong time.”

A number of Muslim organizations have signed on for the Million American March Against Fear on 9/11. These include:

Los Angeles chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity
Muslim American Society, a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity
American Muslim Alliance
American Muslim Task Force
Muslims for Liberty
Muslim March Against Terrorism
Mosque Care (North Carolina)
Muslim American PAC (NJ)
North American Bangladeshi Association for Bangladesh
South Asian Chamber of Commerce

The rally’s website also claims support from a number of non-Muslim political groups including Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth Movement, DC Area 9/11 Truth Movement, March Against Drones and the Occupy Wall Street Movement.

AMPAC, the organization behind the march, is headed by MD Rabbi Alam, a controversial figure who is a documented 9/11 “Truther.” Last July, the Clarion Project discovered that Alam is personally associated with the pro-Hamas Islamist group Viva Palestina (VP) and that a number of Alam’s officials have served in official capacities for VP.

The Investigative Project on Terrorism says “[T]he Viva Palestina campaign is more about supporting and legitimizing Hamas than it is about providing aid to the needy …They treat Hamas leaders as the legitimate representatives of the Palestinian people and provide both material and political support to the terrorist organization.”

Viva Palestina is led by anti-American British politician George Galloway. VP was investigated by the British government in 2009 and is currently under investigation again. Canada has banned Galloway from entering the country because of his support for the Hamas terrorist group, which includes publicly handing a bag of cash to a Hamas minister.

Alam attended a fundraiser headlined by George Galloway on July 2, 2009 that brought in $103,000 for “medical relief for Palestinians in Gaza.” There is a photo of him sitting in the front row. The Gaza Strip is controlled by Hamas, a terrorist organization (as designated by the U.S. government) and the Palestinian wing of the Brotherhood. Other participants in the fundraiser included two Muslim Brotherhood-linked groups, Muslim American Society and American Muslims for Palestine. (See below for more documentation linking Alam to Viva Palestina.)

Alam is a documented 9/11 “Truther,” who claimed that no Jews were killed on 9/11 until he was confronted with the facts (he then apologized). In a video of a speech he prepared for an American Muslims for Palestine event, now blocked from the public, Alam says, “[T]his country, it is true, that when you are not involved in the mainstream, you are nothing but treated yourself as a stranger. It is as simple as it is.”

Alam also heads two other organizations that are also involved in organizing the march, the Missouri Democratic Party Asian American Caucus (MDPAAC) and the National Democratic Party Asian American Caucus.

March Speaker Imam Mahdi Bray: The U.S. Is Waging a War on Islam

One of the listed speakers is Imam Mahdi Bray, identified as an official of the Muslim American Society. In 2008, federal prosecutors said MAS was “founded as the overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in America.” Secret U.S. Muslim Brotherhood member and convicted terrorist Abdurrahman Alamoudi said in 2012 that “everyone knows that MAS is the Muslim Brotherhood.” In 2000, Bray was on stage with Abdurrahman Alamoudi when he praised Hamas and Hezbollah.

Bray gave an approving gesture and the audience cheered when the statement was made. Bray later condemned the Israeli assassination of Hamas’ spiritual leader as “state-sponsored terrorism.” He has also accused the U.S. of waging a “war on Islam.” In February 2008, Bray traveled to Egypt to stand in solidarity with Brotherhood members being prosecuted by the ruling government.

March Organizer Isa Hodge: You Can See Sharia Law in the Constitution Itself

Isa Hodge is the Chief of Operations of the rally on September 11 and the Executive Director of AMPAC. He is also a former Executive Member of MDPAAC.

On January 4, Hodge was on the AMPAC Internet show when he said, “You can actually see Sharia Law in the Constitution itself” and that “Muslims have been in this country long before the white man ever touched the shore.” He accused the U.S. government of a 9/11 cover-up in the same interview.

March Organizer Dr. Kevin Barrett: U.S. Gov’t Is Secretly Controlled by Zionist Conspiracy

Dr. Kevin Barrett is the Director of Media and Outreach of the rally on September 11 and National Communications Director of AMPAC. He has appeared on Iranian state TV and states emphatically that the U.S. government is secretly controlled by a Zionist conspiracy and 9/11 attacks were carried out by Israel. He is the founder of the Muslim-Jewish-Christian Alliance for 9/11 Truth.

More Documentation Linking Alam to Viva Palestina

Alam’s other organization, MDPAAC, has other links to Viva Palestina. The former Campaign Director, Fadi Banyalmarjeh, is a Syrian and was listed as a contact for a 2009 fundraiser featuring Galloway. He has also “liked” Galloway on his Facebook page. He also served as treasurer for Alam’s failed campaign for Secretary of State.

Banyalmarjeh’s profile now has photos supportive of former Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi, who belongs to the Muslim Brotherhood. There is also an Internet post that appears to be written by Banyalmarjeh that quotes Hassan al-Banna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Banyalmarjeh’s name was removed from MDPAAC’s website shortly after our article was published.

MDPAAC also deleted the name of Mohamed El-Housiny as its Youth Coordinator. He was described in 2009 as a “Viva Palestina volunteer event coordinator” and took part in a VP convoy to Gaza in July 2009. He was also a member of a VP convoy that tried to break the Israeli blockade through Egypt in January 2010. He was injured in a clash with Egyptian security personnel. He spoke at an American Muslims for Palestine event on February 7, 2010 and an event about VP on February 15, 2010.

Another name removed from MDPAAC’s website is Adnan Bayazid, who was listed as Director of Fundraising. He is still listed as a National Delegate on the Facebook page of the MDPAAC-linked National Democratic Party Asian American Caucus.

He was the imam of the Islamic Society of Greater Kansas City, which is linked to Alam and Banyalmarjeh. According to Congressional testimony in 2006, he spoke at the Kansas City Art Institute in 2002 and told students that the 9/11 attacks were orchestrated by the U.S. and Israel and that no Jews showed up for work at the World Trade Center.
